Member Subscription Terms

Overview

These terms apply when an eligible MineralCache account chooses a paid MineralCache Member plan. They supplement the Terms of Service. Vendor subscriptions use separate Vendor Subscription Terms and are not covered by this Member plan.

Price, tax and authorization

• The exact monthly or annual price and applicable tax are displayed on the Account Plan page before payment.
• The selected Member plan is billed in advance in United States dollars for each monthly or annual service period.
• By subscribing, you authorize MineralCache and Stripe to charge the selected payment method for the initial payment and each recurring payment at the selected monthly or annual cadence until cancellation takes effect.
• MineralCache uses the current saved account address to determine enrollment availability and the configured tax treatment.

Activation and renewal

• Member access begins only after MineralCache reliably verifies that Stripe marked the applicable initial invoice paid.
• Completing a payment form, creating a Checkout Session, or creating a Stripe subscription does not by itself activate Member access.
• The plan renews automatically at the monthly or annual cadence selected during enrollment until cancellation takes effect. A failed or incomplete payment does not create or extend paid access.
• When MineralCache enables Member-only GeoCache access, current paid Members may browse active caches, view active-cache details, save favorites, submit claim codes, and participate in GeoCache leaderboards.
• Public GeoCache resources and claimed-find content remain available as described on MineralCache. A finder may retain access to their own historical found-cache record after paid access ends.
• MineralCache may separately grant a non-vendor account community GeoCache creator access. While effective, that discretionary permission includes the gated GeoCache participation described above and the creator actions made available in the live GeoCache flow without requiring a paid Member subscription.
• A community creator grant is personal, non-transferable, revocable, and separate from the paid Member plan. It creates no recurring charge, paid Member status, Vendor status, selling authority, commission benefit, payout right, or promise of continued access.
• If a community creator grant ends, new creator actions and any participation that depended only on that grant end. MineralCache may retain the account's existing cache records and allow bounded owner actions for safety, accuracy, and historical stewardship as shown in the live GeoCache flow.
• Approved vendors and MineralCache administrators may retain GeoCache access for cache operations, safety, support, and moderation without purchasing this Member plan.
• The Member features included with the plan are the features described on MineralCache when enrollment is offered. Availability of an individual cache is not guaranteed, and the plan does not include Vendor commission or payout benefits.

Cancellation

• You must cancel before the next renewal charge to prevent that charge.
• Cancellation is effective at the end of the current paid billing period; no partial-period cancellation or proration is offered.
• Closing, abandoning, or ceasing to use an account does not by itself cancel an active subscription.
• The Account Plan page will provide the applicable self-service cancellation control when lifecycle management is enabled. Contact support@mineralcache.com if that control is unavailable.

Refunds and provider records

Member charges are non-refundable once charged and are not prorated, except where required by applicable law or where MineralCache expressly approves correction of a duplicate charge or exceptional billing error. Stripe's invoice, receipt, credit-note, refund, and dispute records are the official payment-provider records.

Eligibility, availability and changes

Member enrollment may be limited by account standing, supported countries, saved-address readiness, payment-provider readiness, and tax configuration. MineralCache may prospectively change or discontinue a Member plan in accordance with applicable law and any notice requirements. A material change is not applied retroactively to an already paid service period.
