Live Shows Policy
Last updated: August 11, 2026
Overview
This Live Shows Policy applies to MineralCache Live Shows, including live selling events, Live Classes,
fixed-price live items, timed-auction live items, live giveaway items, class admissions, buyer participation,
vendor broadcasts, payment settlement, and related orders.
It forms part of our Terms of Service,
Vendor Terms & Listing Standards,
Shipping Policy, and
Returns & Refunds Policy.
Buyer participation
- Buyers must be signed in to participate in Live Show purchase, bidding, or giveaway entry actions.
- MineralCache may require a saved payment method, default shipping address, and unrestricted account status before a buyer can buy, bid, enter a giveaway, or receive a giveaway award during a Live Show.
- Buyers are responsible for keeping payment, shipping, contact, and account information accurate and current before participating.
- If a vendor enables Open Box shipping, the buyer must select Standard Shipping or Open Box before the buyer's first purchase, bid, or giveaway entry in that Live Show. The selected shipping method is locked after the buyer's first commitment for that show.
- Live Show video, room counts, item timing, and availability may change in real time and may be affected by network, device, browser, vendor, or third-party streaming conditions.
Purchase commitments
- Clicking Buy Now for a Live Show item is a purchase commitment for the item and price shown at that time.
- Placing a bid on a Live Show timed-auction item is a binding commitment to purchase the item if you are the winning bidder.
- Live Show timed-auction items may automatically extend when valid bids are placed near closing. MineralCache's server records control bid timing, extensions, winners, and final auction results.
- Final Live Show charges may include the item price or winning bid, applicable shipping, applicable taxes, and any other disclosed charges supported by the marketplace flow.
- Live Show purchase and bidding actions must be made through MineralCache. Off-platform payment requests or attempts to move a Live Show transaction outside MineralCache are prohibited.
Live Classes and Admission
- A Live Class may require paid admission or may offer free registration. The class page identifies the admission price, scheduled start, and available capacity shown by MineralCache.
- Starting a paid registration may temporarily reserve one seat while payment is completed. A temporary reservation is not confirmed admission and may expire or be released if payment is not successfully completed within the applicable payment window.
- Paid admission is charged before the class. Admission is confirmed only after MineralCache records successful payment. Free registration is confirmed without a payment charge.
- Pending paid reservations and confirmed registrations may count against class capacity. Registration may become unavailable when the class reaches capacity or the registration window closes.
- Live Class access is personal to the registered MineralCache account and is non-transferable. Buyers may not share account credentials, playback access, admission links, or other access methods with another person.
- Only a confirmed attendee, the instructor, or an authorized MineralCache administrator may access gated class playback and class participation areas. A payment attempt, temporary reservation, favorite, or promotional email does not itself grant access.
- Admission covers access to the Live Class service only. It does not include a physical item, physical shipping, tracking, or fulfillment unless a separate merchandise purchase expressly provides otherwise. Applicable tax may still be charged on admission where required.
- Before registering, participants must review the class-specific Safety & Requirements, the MineralCache safety notice, and the linked Live Shows and Returns & Refunds policies, then provide the required acknowledgment. MineralCache records the disclosure and policy versions accepted with that registration.
- Live Classes are educational. MineralCache does not supervise a participant's workspace, inspect the participant's tools or materials, certify that an activity is safe for the participant's circumstances, or replace manufacturer instructions, qualified in-person supervision, professional training, or professional safety advice.
- Hands-on participation during or after a class is voluntary and may involve inherent risks, including risks associated with tools, machinery, sharp or hot materials, dust, fragments, chemicals, electricity, ventilation, and the participant's workspace. Participants are responsible for using activity-appropriate protective equipment and ventilation, following manufacturer instructions, maintaining a safe workspace, operating only equipment they understand and can use safely, and stopping any activity that appears unsafe.
- Class-specific Safety & Requirements identify material information supplied for that class but cannot describe every possible hazard or guarantee that participation will be safe. The required acknowledgment does not waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
- MineralCache may send transactional class emails concerning registration confirmation, payment attention, reminders, schedule changes, the class going live, cancellation, and completed refunds. These messages do not depend on promotional-email opt-in, but delivery timing is not guaranteed; attendees remain responsible for reviewing their MineralCache account and class details.
- An instructor may reschedule a class when permitted by MineralCache. A schedule change does not automatically cancel a confirmed registration. MineralCache may review a material schedule change and determine whether continued access, cancellation, or a full admission refund is appropriate or legally required.
- If an instructor or MineralCache cancels a class, confirmed paid admissions will receive a full admission refund and confirmed free registrations will be cancelled without a payment refund. A refund is complete only after the payment provider confirms it.
- If a class is interrupted by an instructor, streaming, platform, or other operational issue, MineralCache may review the class record and determine whether the class substantially occurred, should resume or be rescheduled, should be cancelled, or qualifies for a full admission refund.
- A buyer's failure to attend, late arrival, loss of account access caused by the buyer, or buyer-side device, browser, network, audio, or video problem does not automatically qualify for a refund, except where required by law or where MineralCache determines otherwise after review.
- MineralCache may review admission, attendance, access, payment, stream, scheduling, conduct, cancellation, and refund records and may restrict, cancel, refund, or otherwise resolve class activity to enforce its policies, address technical or legal issues, or protect marketplace integrity.
- Merchandise offered during a Live Class is a separate Live Show purchase. Merchandise remains governed by the ordinary Live Show, tax, shipping, Open Box, return, refund, settlement, and payout rules applicable to that purchase and is not included in the admission charge.
- Canadian merchandise destination support does not automatically enable Canadian Live Class admission. Admission for a Canadian destination remains unavailable unless MineralCache separately configures and enables the applicable class-admission tax treatment.
Live Show giveaways
- Live Show giveaways may require viewers to be signed in, satisfy the displayed watch-time or account eligibility requirements, and click Enter during the giveaway entry window.
- Winners may be selected randomly from eligible entries according to MineralCache's server records and the rules shown in the Live Show experience.
- A winning Live Show giveaway item may be added to the winner's Show Claims or order flow at $0. Shipping address, account status, destination availability, and fulfillment requirements can still apply.
- Entering a Live Show giveaway does not guarantee selection, award availability, shipment, or delivery if eligibility, item availability, destination, account, technical, or marketplace-integrity issues apply.
Automatic payment settlement
- By participating in Live Show buy-now or timed-auction purchases, you authorize MineralCache to attempt payment automatically using your saved payment method after the purchase or winning bid is captured.
- MineralCache may calculate shipping and tax based on the show settings, item details, vendor configuration, and the buyer's default shipping address on file.
- If additional customer action is required to complete payment, including payment authentication or updating payment or shipping information, you must complete that action within the deadline shown by MineralCache.
- If payment is not successfully completed within the required timeframe, the transaction may be canceled, purchasing or bidding privileges may be restricted, and repeated non-payment may result in account action.
- Buyer-responsible payment failures may be treated differently from failures caused by platform, provider, vendor, tax, or system issues.
Open Box shipping
- Open Box shipping is available only when the Live Show vendor enables it and the buyer selects it before participating.
- The item price and applicable merchandise tax are charged through the normal Live Show settlement flow. Shipping and any applicable shipping tax are deferred.
- After payment is confirmed, selected items may be held in the buyer's Open Box with that vendor and combined with eligible paid items from later Live Shows by the same vendor.
- The vendor may create a combined shipping request for selected held items by entering a positive shipping charge, or may expressly waive shipping. Items not selected for that request remain in the Open Box.
- A charged shipping request must be paid before the selected items are released for shipment. MineralCache may calculate applicable shipping tax using the saved destination and the original item and vendor information.
- For Canadian Open Box transactions, the original merchandise order and a later charged shipping request retain separate destination and tax-route records. A free or waived shipping request removes only the MineralCache shipping charge; it does not waive duties, GST/HST, provincial taxes, customs charges, carrier handling fees, brokerage fees, or other import amounts assessed outside MineralCache.
- Open Box items remain subject to destination eligibility, tracking, delivery, return, refund, and marketplace-integrity requirements. Open Box does not guarantee indefinite storage, a particular shipping price, or shipment outside supported destinations.
- MineralCache does not impose an automatic Open Box hold period or release deadline. Buyers and vendors are responsible for coordinating when held items should be shipped, subject to MineralCache policies and any instructions or intervention MineralCache determines are necessary.
Vendor responsibilities
- Vendors must accurately present Live Show items, including title, claim ID, price, quantity, sale mode, auction timing, condition, material, locality when known, and any material defects or limitations.
- Vendors are responsible for ensuring Live Show items are available, lawful to sell, properly described, and suitable for shipment to the enabled destinations.
- Vendors must keep Live Show transactions on MineralCache and may not direct buyers to pay, claim, bid, or complete a transaction off-platform.
- Vendors are responsible for fulfilling paid Live Show orders through the normal MineralCache order and shipping workflows.
- When offering Open Box shipping, vendors must accurately manage held items, include only the intended paid quantities in each shipping request, and ship released items after shipping is paid or expressly waived.
- Vendors must use stream credentials securely. Stream keys and broadcast credentials must not be shared publicly or exposed to buyers.
Chat moderation
- Live Show vendors and MineralCache administrators may appoint moderators for a specific Live Show.
- A MOD badge indicates limited chat-moderation authority for the assigned Live Show. The badge does not, by itself, mean that the moderator is a MineralCache employee or representative.
- Moderators may remove buyer chat messages and mute or unmute participants within the Live Show to which they are assigned.
- Moderator authority does not extend to broadcasts, items, bids, giveaways, claims, orders, payments, accounts, or private customer information.
- The Live Show vendor or MineralCache may revoke moderator access immediately. MineralCache may also restrict moderator access when needed to enforce its policies or protect marketplace integrity.
- Moderator availability and continuous chat moderation are not guaranteed. All participants remain responsible for following MineralCache policies and marketplace conduct standards.
- Questions or disputes concerning Live Show moderation may be directed to support@mineralcache.com.
Live content standards
- Live Show content must comply with MineralCache policies, applicable law, and marketplace standards.
- Illegal, unsafe, deceptive, harassing, hateful, infringing, sexually explicit, exploitative, or otherwise abusive content is prohibited.
- Vendors may not use Live Shows to sell prohibited items, make misleading claims, manipulate bids or claims, evade fees, or pressure buyers into off-platform transactions.
- MineralCache may monitor, review, remove, restrict, end, cancel, or investigate Live Shows, items, claims, bids, orders, vendors, or buyer accounts when needed to protect marketplace integrity.
Stream availability
Live Show streaming depends on third-party video infrastructure, internet connections, browsers, devices,
vendor equipment, and platform systems. MineralCache does not guarantee that every Live Show, stream,
playback session, item start, bid, claim, or notification will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at
all times.
MineralCache's server records are the authoritative records for Live Show bids, claims, giveaway entries,
timestamps, winners, extensions, payment attempts, and order creation unless MineralCache determines that a
record was affected by error, fraud, abuse, or technical malfunction. If a technical, operational, payment,
streaming, or marketplace-integrity issue affects a Live Show, item, bid, claim, giveaway entry, closing time,
or checkout, MineralCache may pause, extend, reopen,
cancel, void, manually review, or otherwise resolve the affected activity in the manner MineralCache determines
is fair and appropriate. If MineralCache cancels a transaction before fulfillment because of a technical or
marketplace-integrity issue, any captured payment will be refunded in accordance with applicable law and
MineralCache policies.
Orders, shipping, and returns
- Paid Live Show purchases become MineralCache orders and are fulfilled under the same marketplace order, shipping, and vendor fulfillment rules that apply to other orders unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Live Show orders may include items from a single vendor and may be grouped or settled according to the Live Show flow used by MineralCache.
- For Open Box items, the shipping dispatch period begins after the applicable combined shipping request is paid or shipping is expressly waived, rather than when the merchandise payment was first confirmed.
- Return and refund eligibility for Live Show purchases is governed by the Returns & Refunds Policy and any non-waivable rights required by applicable law.
